About Us
Our studio was founded in 2001 by Director, Shanna Becker. At our heart, we are a school for classical ballet. Our mission is to inspire and educate students in dance and many other styles of performance art, with a sound technical foundation in Ballet methodology, and a focus on artistry and expression. Our ballet classes primarily utilize the Russian Vaganova method, with some principles from the French school, Cechetti and Bournonville methods, and American [Balanchine] and English styles explored.

We offer classes for students aged three years through adult in beginner through pre-professional levels. 

Classes are available in ballet, jazz, tap, contemporary and modern dance, lyrical, acro/tumbling, and hip-hop. 

Recital Information
Our season involves two performances annually; with a winter production of The Nutcracker "Clara's Dream" held in early December, and a themed spring recital held in mid-May.

Company
The Company at MVDT is an audition-based program for dancers from age 7 to adult who create engaging performance opportunities for our community. For more information, please e-mail our director.

Closings, Cancellations and Absences
When the studio is closed due to inclement weather, it will be posted on our facebook page. You may also sign up for text messaging. Make up lessons are available for cancellations or absence due to illness. If a student will be absent, please contact the studio.
