Our strategies for the 2020-2021 season include:
- Reduction in class sizes. Pre-registration is required for all students. There will be no drop-in classes.
- Students must wear appropriate face coverings while inside the building.
- High-touch surfaces and equipment will be sanitized frequently.
- Dressing room and bathroom may only be used by one student at a time. All personal items (including cell phones and water bottles) must be left in the cubby area.
- Students who have symptoms must stay at home.
- Health screenings and temperature checks may be performed.
- Our waiting room is closed to visitors. Parents must drop off and pickup students at the door.
- DOH signage will be placed prominently in the studio.
- Breaks will be staggered to aid in social distancing measures.
- Hand sanitizer, antibacterial soap, and disposable face masks will be available.
- Both in-person and virtual class options are available.
Other measures we have implemented to streamline our procedures include:
- Updated simplified dress code to prevent unnecessary changes.
- Barre and floor spacing markers.
- Online payment options available.
- Minimal use of tactile corrections and assists, when possible.
- Classes grouped into combinations, with students in cohorts, to prevent intermingling of groups.
- Medical release is required for students who have received a positive test result to return to class.
